I could not stand my experience at a so called "discount veterinary clinic!." I took my dog reluctantly, thinking foolishly that it would be a good means to cut living expenses a bit. What happened was appalling! My dog was not even examined by a vet. A tech just took blood for the heartworm test, they took the stool to run that for parasites, then a tech just plugged my dog with vaccines. Then, within 30 minutes of getting my dog home, he had this horrible reaction where is face swelled up so badly that his eye were swelled shut! My dog had been getting vaccine from my regular vet for YEARS without so much as a hickup, and now this. I called the dicoutn crap clinic and they said to bring my dog back in. I almost was about to, and then it occured to me that they caused something to happen to my dog that never happend at my regular vet, then decided that they will never touch my dog ever again! I called my regular vet who saw my dog right away. They gave him a shot that cured his swelling within 20 minutes and he has been fine since. Take it from me everybody, those dicount crap clinics are no way to save money! Cut corners someplace else!
