Nice talk. I do agree that the Bush administration was a disaster for our country, and not doubt he let big oil have their way with our environment. But...Barack Obama has been President for 19 months, during which time he did not seem to do much about this problem. Doensn't he share in the responsibility of this disaster?

I absolutely do not not excuse President Obama from this mess, but among the financial banking crisis, the resultant Great Recession, 2 previously piss poorly managed wars, wars, broken healtcare system, he inherrited a department of the interior that was a train wreck frought with crimal and ethical violations, cronieism, and abuse, all cultivated by the Bush administration. He had set forth the clean up of the department, but with all the other magnitude of problems that are on his plate, he did not move fast enough, apparently. In the end, this did happen on his watch, so he does bear some responsibility, but the coziness of our government with big oil over the past 8 years of Bush, Cheney, and company, really bear the most telling responsibility.
